Australian Privacy Awards and Medal

One of the highlights of Privacy Awareness Week will be the gala presentation dinner for the Australian Privacy Awards and Australian Privacy Medal. To be held in Sydney on Wednesday, 27 August, the event will recognise agencies and organisations that have engaged in good privacy practices, as well as honouring a leading individual in the Australian privacy field. Awards will be presented in four categories – Microsoft Small-Medium Business Award, Large Business Award, Symantec Government Award, and Community and NGO Award – with a Grand Award presented to the overall winner.
